Our Responsibilities

We follow applicable Federal civil rights laws and do not exclude people, treat them differently, or otherwise discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex.

In addition, based on other laws and agency guidelines, we do not exclude people, treat them differently, or otherwise discriminate on the basis of religion, creed, marital status, familial status, sexual orientation, or public assistance status.

We will take appropriate steps to make sure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to participate in our services, activities, and programs, including employment. We help people with disabilities to communicate with us. This help is free. It includes:

  • Qualified sign language interpreters
  • Written information in other formats, such as large print, audio and accessible electronic formats.

We provide services for people who do not speak English, or who are not comforable speaking English. These services are free. They include:

  • Qualified interpreters
  • Information writen in other languages

To File a Grievance

If you believe that we have not provided these services or discriminated in another way on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, religion, creed, marital status, familial status, sexual oriententation, or public assistance status, you can file a grievance with the Civil Rights coordinator in person, by mail, fax, or email. If you need help filing a grievance the Civil Rights Coordinator is available to help you.
